Power Yoga

Vinyasa style yoga that links movement with the breath. It is physical but very adaptable and life changing. Most Power Yoga classes are taught in a heated room because the heat will relax your muscles and allow you to take your practice to another level. I will not turn the AC on unless the temp in the room goes above 85. Sweating is good for you! This style yoga is a great way to gain strength (especially core stretch) while also working on flexibility and mental clarity. Flexibility is not a requirement but if it is a goal of yours then Power Yoga will help you achieve that goal. This style yoga will look different from mat-to-mat, yoga teaches us NOT to compare ourselves to others but to feel great just as we are. The more you practice the more you will see yourself growing and experiencing shifts in both your physical and emotional being.
