PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Linda Logan Widner
COMMUNITY PLAYGROUND
- Closed on November 1, 2020 due to significant issues: wood rot, split wood, boards in need of replacement and safety concerns
- Currently waiting for IMC to complete repairs
- Thank you to the community for understanding the need to temporarily close it
- A notification will go out when it is open to the community, again.
- There is also a need to mulch the area again. This has been done in the past with volunteers.
- Benches-one removed due to disrepair and two others in need of painting
- Exploratory Committee
IMC Management
- Partner with HOA on administrative items such as annual dues, bills, financial report, etc
- Compliance-weekly visits to community, follow up with email/letter regarding issues and recommended corrective action. Homeowners that cannot correct the concern within that time period should contact Jessica Turner/IMC ( jessica@imcchs.com) to explain the situation. Also, if you have questions about a letter you received regarding a concern, you can also contact Jessica for that.
- This week there were 53 cited violations that are open or pending.
- Bids for needed items such as maintenance, insurance, etc
- IMC website has documents such as covenants and restrictions, bylaws, welcome packet, community directory, etc. that homeowner’s can access
COMMUNITY HOME OWNER’S DIRECTORY
- Linda Spates and Joanne Davis-HOA Secretary have updated the directory. If your information is not correct or missing, please contact Joanne at Joanne7751@gmail.com.
- This will be available on the IMC site.
DRAINAGE AND WETLANDS
- Denis Lesieur continues to work on cost estimates for clearing and cleaning the community drainage areas.
- This is a very expensive proposition
LONG RANGE PLANNING
- Multiple projects to maintain our community (ex. Drainage ditches, clubhouse, painting and repairs
- First of the year the board will meet to begin prioritizing needs and lay out a 5 year plan
OTHER
- Possible Community Day (December 5, 2020, 10:00-1:00)
- Projects: mulch playground, clean neighborhood street signs, mailbox painting
- Email will be sent out and if there are volunteers we will move forward with this
