Introduction to Power YOGA

INTRODUCTION TO POWER YOGA ~ Tuesday, July 30th and Wednesday, July 31st starting at 6:30pm
This is an opportunity to those who are new to yoga to come and get an understanding of the postures with focus on form and alignment. Each posture will be broken down from the feet up. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and experience some of the traditional asanas before you experience them in a flow.
*Power Yoga Classes will be offered on Tuesday’s at 6:30 starting August 6th.
*Yin Yoga Classes will be offered on Wednesday’s at 6:30 starting August 7th.
To Register for Class:
I will send a Yoga email every Monday; simply reply with your intent to attend class NO LATER than 4 pm on the day of the class. Anyone wishing to be removed from the yoga email’s only needs to reply asking to be removed.
*5 participants are required to hold class.
These are “community” classes so cost is based on donation!
*Typical community donation is $8-10.
Recommendations for Class Participation:
Do not eat too much before the class
Wear comfortable non-constrictive clothing-no shoes
Bring along a towel and bottle of water
Bring a yoga mat
Respect your limits, do NOT force yourself
Respect other ~ Be on time
Please leave your cell phone and other distractions at home
